Helping small to mid-sized architecture and design-related firms optimize their operations and elevate the quality of their work.

Approach

A shared trait of any successful design practice is a culture that deeply values and drives ongoing iteration and improvement. As a firm grows, it becomes essential to proactively make incremental changes to professionalize the structure and operations. Typical needs include:

  • Identifying and developing new leaders and teams

  • Documenting core quality standards, processes, and best practices

  • Developing more sophisticated methods of goal-setting, reporting, and communication

  • Deploying technology that streamlines and supports the work

I combine my operational expertise and design process experience to assist firms in addressing common challenges. I begin by talking with design and business operations leaders, in addition to collecting and evaluating information, to understand the firm’s current state, goals, opportunities, and constraints. After gaining clarity, I collaborate with the firm's experts to create customized solutions that meet their specific requirements.
